Seventhcoalition.org is a a personal interest blog created by Nick Richwagen and Steven Knorr in August 2015. Articles are about topics in history the authors find interesting. In 7 years we have written 15 articles, so it’s been slow-going, but it’s been a journey that’s connected us to people all over the world. When we started we certainly didn’t expect to be included in school curricula, student projects, or to even meet Wikipedia’s rigorous standards to be be a cited source, so it’s been an adventure.

We love to hear from readers, even angry critics, so tell us what you want to say. Keep in mind neither writers are professional historians (yet).

Nick Richwagen, MD is a resident physician undergoing training in internal medicine. In his ample free time, Dr. Richwagen enjoys reading (and listening to) most any history topic.

Steven Knorr has a professional background in history and is an educator in a large, swampy southern state. Mr. Knorr has a particular interest in local history and has a research background in colonial Latin America.
